This beautiful antique Edwardian Suffragette cluster ring has been crafted with four approx. 0.06ct deep purple Amethysts and four approx. 0.06ct bright green Peridots, all clustered around a central pearl.
The stones have been set into a beautiful Rose Gold gallery with matching shank that complement the stones beautifully.
Suffragette jewellery was worn to show one’s allegiance to the women’s Suffragette movement in the early 20th century and popularly consisted of Violet, Green and White stones which carried the message: Green for Give, white for Women and violet for Votes!
This is a wonderful example of the jewellery produced to show support for the Suffragette movement, and a fitting tribute to the bravery of the women involved in the struggle for women’s equality.
